9/02/14 – Failure to Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for the driver failing to stop at a stop sign.  The driver was found to have a suspended license, and was cited for the stop sign violation, and for having a suspended license. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Suspicious Vehicle – This department was advised of an unattended vehicle drifting out of a parking space in the CFL lot.  Officers secured the vehicle and the owner was contacted to respond.  No damage was done to any property during this incident. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Suspicious Vehicle – Moon PD dispatch notified this department of a possible underage alcohol transfer outside of Giant Eagle.  Officers located the vehicle and checked the occupants who were all twenty-one years of age. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Missing Property – A student reported a pair of shoes missing from their dorm room.  Officers took all pertinent information and an investigation is under way. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Departmental Information – While on patrol at Yorktown hall officers noticed the bathrooms were backed up on the first floor.  Maintenance was notified and began to clean up and repair the problem. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Accident – A student’s vehicle was hit while parked in the CFL #4 parking lots.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

9/02/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

9/03/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

9/04/14 – Accident – A student reported a hit and run accident in the Upper Massey lot.  The vehicle in question was located and all pertinent information was obtained for report purposes. (Closed)

9/04/14 – Medical Emergency – Health Services reported a female student needing medical attention in Washington hall.  Officers responded and contacted Valley Ambulance to respond.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

9/04/14 – Failure to Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation.  The driver was issued a citation for the violation. (Closed)

9/05/14 – Suspicious Vehicle – This department was advised of a suspicious vehicle parked behind Yorktown hall.  Officers checked on the vehicle and found the owner who ran into the building to drop something off. (Closed)

9/05/14 – Student Conduct – Residence life reported a party on the eighth floor of Yorktown hall.  Officers responded, disposed of all alcohol that was present and advised all parties involved they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Departmental Information – While monitoring a dance in John Jay gym, a student reported the sinks off the wall in the men’s room.  It was determined that maintenance was doing repair work and that was the reason for the sinks being off the wall. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Property Damage – A water line broke at the food court in the Nicholson Center.  Maintenance was notified, cleaned up the water and repaired the problem.  Pictures were taken of the damage done to the Food Court and the Book Store. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Fire Alarm – Students called and reported their fire alarm going off in their room in Concord hall.  The students advised that they were sleeping and it just went off.  Maintenance responded and advised they will have the smoke detectors changed in the room. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Property Damage – This department was advised of a bike rack broken outside of the Business School.  A report was issued for the damage to the bike rack. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Departmental Information – Allegheny County Police notified this department that they would be on campus property pertaining to an investigation. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that burnt food was the cause for the alarm.  Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm. (Closed)

9/06/14 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence life reported an odor of marijuana in Adams hall.  Officers checked the building with negative findings, and advised the CA to notify this department if it occurs again. (Closed)

9/07/14 – Property Damage – While patrolling Lexington hall an officer noticed damage to the first floor stairwell door.  Pictures were taken of the damage and maintenance was notified. (Closed)

9/07/14 – Disorderly Conduct – A traffic stop was conducted for a vehicle dragging a part of the vehicle on the roadway.  The driver was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and was cited for disorderly conduct. (Closed)

9/07/14 – Departmental Information – A sink was clogged on the third floor of Yorktown hall that caused water to leak into the room below it.  Pictures were taken of the damage and maintenance was already on scene repairing the issue. (Closed)

9/07/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

9/08/14 – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the alarm was false, maintenance was notified and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

9/08/14 – Traffic Stop – A traffic stop was conducted for a stop sign violation.   Upon stopping the vehicle, it was found to have no license plate or inspection stickers.  The owner was advised to park the motorcycle and that they will be receiving three citations for the stop sign violation, operation without inspection, and registration and certification of title required.
