PITTSBURGH — A Robert Morris University alumnus recently joined the executive team at a Pittsburgh marketing firm.

James (Jim) Woods, Class of ’06 alumnus, was hired as the vice president of Push 7, a downtown Pittsburgh marketing firm. Push 7 is a full-service marketing communications and graphic design firm that was formed following the merger of Yearick-Millea, McMahon & Cardillo Communication and SWZ Design in 2016.

Woods studied at Robert Morris University from 2003 to 2006 and graduated with a master of science in communications and information systems. Prior to Robert Morris, Woods studied at Penn State University where he graduated with a bachelor of arts in communications.

“Jim is a well-respected public relations professional, and his skills add to the already diverse services PUSH 7 provides,” says John Millea, president, PUSH 7. “His vast experience in marketing communications coupled with his leadership skills will be valued assets for our clients and to PUSH 7 in general.”

Prior to Push 7, Woods used his schooling from RMU when he worked at the American Iron and Steel Institute as the senior director of sustainability communications from 1995 to 2019, according to his LinkedIn account.
