‘Valentine’s on Ice’ event scheduled at Schenley Park Skating Rink

PITTSBURGH — Schenley Park Skating Rink in Pittsburgh has recently announced their 13th annual “Valentine’s on Ice” event which is scheduled for Valentine’s Day from 7-10 p.m.

“Valentine’s on Ice” is a magical night of outdoor ice skating for adults 18 years or older. The event is $5 per couple, according to an email.

Couples can rent skates for $3 and skate with romantic music playing under the stars.

The first 200 couples to get into the event will receive complimentary roses from Alex’s East End Floral Shoppe and sweets from Betsy Ann Chocolates.

Other featured activities at the event include: stopping for sweetheart photos to keep as a souvenir, salsa Pittsburgh dance lessons, posing for caricatures and enjoying refreshments such as hot chocolate, hot coffee and pizza.
