With Robert Morris hockey set to return next year and the teams looking to rebuild, one of the few remaining players in Kyleigh Hanzlik has finally found a new home in no. 4 Minnesota.

Hanzlik, a redshirt senior, will join the Golden Gophers for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, donning no. 11.

The Wisconsin Rapids native initially joined Robert Morris in the 2019-20 season after transferring from Wisconsin, scoring six goals in 18 games.

In 43 games as a Colonial, Hanzlik scored nine goals and eight assists for 17 points, including three goals and eight assists during the 2020-21 season.

Minnesota currently stands at 14-5-1 and 9-4-1 in the WCHA, now ranked at fourth in the most recent USCHO poll.
