Rodney Pryor’s late game bucket helped his team defeat the Knights and improve in the NEC standings

Columbia 78 (8-5), RMU 71 (1-9): The Colonials took on Columbia in a matinee in New York, New York Monday but it wasn’t what the Colonials were looking for as they fell to the Lions 78-71. Columbia outscored RMU 37-27 in the first half and held off the Colonials as they tried to battle back in the second half outscoring the Lions 44-41. Senior Rodney Pryor led the Colonials in points and rebounds as he scored 27 points and brought down 8 rebounds. Three other Colonials also finished with double-digit points as junior Billy Giles finished with 14, sophomore Elijah Minnie finished with 11, and junior Kavon Stewart finished with 10. Robert Morris shot 46.3 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
