Winthrop 3 (4-4), RMU 2 (4-4): The Colonials traveled to the UMBC Tournament in Baltimore, Maryland Friday to take on Winthrop in the opening round. The Colonials won the first two sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-20 but Winthrop gathered themselves and won the next three sets, 29-27, 25-18, and 17-15 to take the match 3 sets to 2. RMU was led by senior Arden Fisher who finished the contest with 16 digs. Fellow senior April Krivoniak and sophomore Brianna Schmid finished with 10 digs each.
