RMU 3 (9-6-4, CHA 3-3-3), Lindenwood 3 (4-11-4, CHA 2-3-4): The Colonials traveled to Wentzville, Missouri Saturday to begin a two game weekend series with Lindenwood. The first game saw 6 combined goals but neither team was able to come away with the sole victory as the game ended in a 3-3 tie. The Lions scored early in the first period to take a 1-0 lead but moments later, RMU tied the game via a goal by sophomore Jessica Gozzola. Lindenwood re-took the lead early in the second period but junior Mackenzie Johnston found the back of the net for the Colonials on a power play opportunity to tie the game 2-2 later in the same period. The Lions took a 3-2 lead in the third period but sophomore Brittany Howard knotted the score up 3-3 towards the end of the last period of regulation play to force overtime. Neither team was able to come away with a goal in the extra period and the battle ended in a draw. Jessica Dodds faced 31 shots for the Colonials in net.
