Alyssa Benson, Copy Editor/Layout staff

A senior communication major with a concentration in journalism and a minor in public relations, Alyssa is the Copy Editor, a staff writer, and a member of the layout staff for RMU's student-run newspaper, The Sentry. She previously held the position of Assistant Sports Editor for the fall semester.

Also, Alyssa is a stringer for The Pittsburgh Tribune Review in the sports department. In addition to writing for the university’s paper, she serves as the secretary of the Society of Collegiate Journalists. She also is a member of the web-streaming program that live streams athletic events for the public to view.
