Sending out transcripts has become even more convenient for RMU students. Academic services introduced the new RMU eTranscript service on Tuesday in an e-mail sent by Lawrence Tomei, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs.

By going to rmu.edu/transcripts, students can choose to request a traditional transcript which still comes at no charge, or a new option of digital transcripts. The traditional transcripts still have a two business day turn-around if the student is picking the transcript up in Academic Affairs, or it will be sent to its requested location surface mail through USPS within two to four business days.

The digital transcript option is for students needing something more immediate.. The transcript will be sent to the proper location within two to four hours for a fee of $8. Any destination that receives a digital transcript will be given a secure web address and password to download the transcript as a PDF document.

The new digital transcript system is very secure, having students access it through Sentry Secured services. Students can now also track their request online from the minute the request was sent, all the way to its delivery, receipt, and access.

Questions can be answered by visiting Academic Services in Patrick Henry Room 200 or by calling 6232.
