MOON TOWNSHIP — This year, more than 700 undergraduate students of Robert Morris University will be receiving their degrees and WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon will be addressing them.

McMahon has been chosen to deliver the Class of 2019’s commencement speech. This year’s commencement will be held in the university’s newly built UPMC Event Center.

“I am honored to speak at Robert Morris University’s 2019 commencement ceremony,” said McMahon. “Inspiring today’s generation to achieve their dreams and be the best versions of themselves is something very important to me as a mother of three daughters.”

RMU will be awarding McMahon with an honorary doctorate of humane letters at the event.

This will not be McMahon’s first time at RMU though, as she has appeared as a guest speaker for an RMU business and sports management course on the WWE. She is expected to speak to this semester’s class via video conference April 24.

McMahon’s husband Paul “Triple H” Levesque has also appeared as a guest lecturer for Robert Morris before and most recently performer Charlotte Flair has also spoken to the class.

McMahon is the daughter of WWE’s CEO Vince McMahon and has worked to build the company’s brand, community relations and pop culture.

This will be the 94th commencement at Robert Morris.
