Punxsutawney Phil predicts early spring

Despite the fringed temperatures and winter weather advisories, many Pennsylvanians braved the harsh conditions this morning to witnesses the yearly ritual that some believe predicts our climate’s future.

Punxsutawney native, Phil the groundhog, has long been a renowned meteorologist, specializing in seasonal climate changes.

According to CNN,  it was determined by Phil’s overseers that the weather oracle Punxsutawney Phil had not seen his shadow when emerging from his borough Saturday morning; therefore, we will be greeted with an early spring this year.
