03/31/2022: Criminal Mischief: A student reported their door was kicked in during the night. The RMU Detective reviewed the camera footage and with the help of Residence Life identified the suspect. One student will be sent through Student Conduct. The case is closed.

03/31/2022: Accident Involving Damage-Unattended Vehicle: A student reported damage to their vehicle parked in the Lower John Jay Lot. All pertinent information was obtained for insurance purposes along with pictures of the damage. This case is closed.

03/31/2022: Medical Emergency: An RMU Island Sports Center Public Safety Officer was notified about an injured hockey player. The player was transported to the hospital by medics. The case is closed.

04/01/2022: Found Property: The RMU Senior Manager of Environmental Services turned over a wallet found in Joe Walton Stadium. The wallet was logged into Lost and Found. The owner was contacted. This case is closed.

04/01/2022: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt eggs. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

04/02/2022: Disturbance/Loud Music or People: RMU Police received a noise complaint in Salem Hall. Officers along with Residence Life responded. The students were informed they were violating quiet hours. They apologized and turned down the music for the night. This case is closed.

04/02/2022: Student Conduct Alcohol: The Marshall Hall CA reported an intoxicated student in the restroom. Officers responded with Residence Life. Medics were called to evaluate the student. One student will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the alcohol policy. The case is closed.

04/02/2022: Accident Involving Damage-Att. Veh/Prop: RMU Police reported damage to Police Vehicle 702. A report and pictures were generated for insurance purposes. The Chief was notified. This case is closed.

04/02/2022: Failure to Stop at Stop Sign: RMU Police conducted a traffic stop for failing to stop at a posted stop sign. The officer explained the reason for the stop and the driver was issued three state citations. The case is closed.

04/03/2022: Property Damage (misc. item(s)): RMU Officers were flagged down by a student while conducting patrols. The student reported broken glass outside Concord Hall. Officers observed a light pole had been knocked down. RMU Maintenance was notified. This incident was handed over to the RMU Detectives to identify the suspects. This case is pending.

04/03/2022: Medical Emergency: RMU Police were notified about a medical emergency on the Nicholson Center lawn. Officers responded and medics transported the student to the hospital. The case is closed.

04/03/2022: Found Property: RMU Professor turned over Apple AirPods found in the Hale Center. The AirPods were entered into Lost and Found. This case is closed.

04/03/2022: Smell of Marijuana: A student reported a smell of marijuana in Yorktown Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. Officers were unable to detect the exact location due to the smell coming from the ventilation system. The case is closed.
