10/26/21: Fire Alarm-False Alarm: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt pizza. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

 

10/26/21: Suspicious Incident: CA staff in Madison Hall reported a student urinating in the wrong room. Officers responded and notified RMU Maintenance for clean-up. One student will be cited for underage drinking and sent through student conduct for violating the alcohol policy. This case is closed.

 

10/26/21: Suspicious Incident: A student in Yorktown Hall reported receiving suspicious messages via Snapchat. A student provided screenshots of the messages. The case is closed.

 

10/26/21: Accident Involving Damage-Unattended Vehicle: A student reported they struck another vehicle while parking in the Patrick Henry Lot. The driver of the unattended vehicle was notified. Pictures were taken for insurance purposes. This case is closed.

10/30/21: Terroristic Threats: A Guard Security Officer denied a student from entering through a side gate into the football game without a ticket. The student began using profane language and threatened the officer. The student will be charged with Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct. They will also be trespassed from campus. 10/31/21: Student Conduct Alcohol: Residence Life reported a noise complaint at Washington Hall. Officers responded along with Res Life staff. Five students will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the alcohol policy. The case is closed.

 

10/31/21: Trespass Warning: A student reported an unknown person possibly urinated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and located the suspect. They were very intoxicated and were separated from their friend. Officers were able to locate a friend for a place to stay the night. A trespass warning will be issued. This case is closed.

10/31/21: Missing Property: A student reported their jacket missing from their room in Washington Hall. Officers responded along with Residence Life staff. It was determined a roommate had the jacket and posted pictures on social media. The roommate was called and returned it without incident. This case is closed.
