8/27 – Departmental Information – A university employee came to the station to report their vehicle stolen off campus, and their keys to various buildings on campus were inside the vehicle. (Closed)

8/27 – Gas Leak – A Parkhurst employee reported a strong smell of gas in the Nicholson Center kitchen. Officers evacuated the area. Maintenance was notified and shut off the gas. (Closed)

8/27 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Gallatin Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm panel. (Closed) 

8/28 – Fire Alarm – Maintenance reported an alarm in Concord Hall. Upon arrival, officers found the steam from a shower had activated the smoke detector. (Closed)

8/28 – Departmental Information – Officers responded to Adams Hall for a potential medical emergency. A student was checked by Valley Ambulance staff, and it was determined the student did not need further medical treatment. (Closed)

8/28 – Student Conduct – While doing a walk-through of Hamilton Hall, an officer discovered an underage drinking party. All occupants of the room sent through Judicial Affairs for adjudication. (Closed)

8/29 – Smell of Marijuana – A resident assistant reported a possible smell of marijuana on the sixth floor of Yorktown Hall. Upon arrival, officers did not find any smell of marijuana. (Closed)

8/30 – Departmental Information – A student came to the Barry Center to report receiving threatening text messages. The student only wanted to make this department aware of the situation. (Closed)

8/31 – Student Conduct – A resident assistant from Marshall Hall reported the smell of marijuana on the first floor. Upon arrival, officers located the smell of marijuana and confiscated marijuana and a glass pipe. All parties will be sent through Judicial Affairs for adjudication. (Closed)

8/31 – Student Conduct – A resident assistant from Concord Hall called reporting a loud party on the third floor. Upon arrival, officers found an underage drinking party. All alcohol was disposed of and all occupants of the room will be sent through Judicial Affairs for adjudication. (Closed)

8/31 – Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a smoke detector activation in Concord Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

8/31 – Assist Another Agency – Officers assisted Coraopolis Police with a motorcycle pursuit. Officers stopped the motorcycle on University Blvd. (Closed)

9/01 – Student Conduct – A student called this department making claims they had paid $350 cash for their parking violations. After investigation, it was determined those claims were false. The student was sent through Judicial Affairs for furnishing false information to a university official. (Closed)

9/01 – Departmental Information – This department was advised there was a vehicle parked in the Gazebo Lot with a dog locked inside. Officers made contact with the vehicle owner with no further incident. (Closed)

9/02 – Departmental Information – Officers viewed a suspicious vehicle on campus possibly related to an earlier incident. The vehicle left campus without incident. (Closed)

9/02 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported smoke detector activation in Madison Hall. Upon arrival, officers found smoke on the second floor caused by a hair straightener. Officers reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

9/02 – Criminal Mischief – A student from Yorktown Hall reported their guest’s vehicle vandalized; the driver’s side mirror had been broken off the vehicle. (Closed)

9/02 – Animal Complaint – A student reported hitting a deer with their vehicle on Colonial Way. Officers removed the deer from roadway. The vehicle sustained no damage in the accident. (Closed)

9/03 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported smoke detector activation in Concord Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

9/03 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported smoke detector activation in Concord Hall, officers checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

9/03 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported smoke detector activation in Lexington Hall. Officers checked the building and found a resident had burnt food. (Closed)

9/03 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported an alarm in Concord Hall. Upon arrival, officers found the steam from a shower had activated the smoke detector. (Closed)

9/03 – Student Conduct – Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at Yorktown Hall, upon arrival officers found an underage intoxicated student arguing with their father. Student was arrested for underage drinking and possession of a false identification. Student was transported to Coraopolis Jail for the night. (Closed)

9/04 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported trouble alarm activation in Monroe Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results. Maintenance was notified of a problem with the alarm and reset the panel. (Closed)

9/04 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported smoke detector activation in Concord Hall. Officers checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

9/05 – Trespass – Officers received a report of a non-student previously told to leave campus who was staying in Yorktown Hall. Officers made contact with the individual and issued them a trespass warning. (Closed)

9/05 – Student Conduct – Reported smell of marijuana in Braddock Hall. Upon arrival, officers located the source of the smell and confiscated marijuana and a glass pipe. All parties will be sent through Judicial Affairs for adjudication. (Closed)
