1/13 – Lost Property – A Parkhurst employee reported to this department that their iPad was missing. This case is under investigation at this time, and the cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate the missing item and any suspects that may be involved.

1/14 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a noise complaint in Washington Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, a student was present in the common area with various empty alcohol containers present. The student admitted to consuming alcohol and will be sent through the university’s Judicial Affairs department for judgment.

1/14 – Departmental Information – This department was contacted by the Holiday Inn on a report from one of RMU’s students of being harassed by a hotel employee. Officers spoke with the employee and advised them they are not permitted on any of the floors occupied by RMU students.

1/15 – Medical Emergency – Residence Life reported a student passed out in Salem Hall. Officers responded and contacted Valley Ambulance to evaluate the student. Valley transported the student to Allegheny General Hospital for further treatment. The student is being sent through Judicial Affairs for underage drinking.

1/15 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a loud party in Concord Hall. Officers arrived and found two students to be underage and consumed alcohol. Both students are being sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment.

1/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported an intoxicated student in Ross Hall. Officers arrived and met with the student involved. The student was under the influence of alcohol and will be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment.

1/16 – Found Property – A maintenance employee reported finding money in the cafeteria. An officer responded and took possession of the money and placed it in a locked evidence locker.

1/16 – Departmental Information – A student came to Barry Center who was visibly upset and requested to contact a parent to take them home. Officers granted the request and waited with the student until a parent came to get them.

1/16 – Lost Property – A student made a report of a lost cell phone from the cafeteria. A report was made and the student will be notified if the phone is turned in.
