Police Blotter: Jan. 4 – Jan. 9, 2012

1/4 – Medical Emergency – Valley Ambulance called and advised that they were en route to campus to transport a student who was feeling weak. Valley arrived on scene and transported the student to Children’s Hospital. Residence Life notified of the transport.

1/4 – Theft – A patron at the ISC reported her son’s hockey stick taken from the inline skating rink. This incident is under investigation at this time.

1/7 – Departmental Information – An ISC employee reported damage done to a Christmas decoration at the golf dome. Officers reviewed the cameras and were unable to locate anyone tampering with the decoration.

1/8 – Suspicious Incident – This department received an anonymous call about someone grabbing the caller’s shirt and wanting to start a fight. Officers responded and checked the area with negative results.

1/8 – Theft – A resident of the Holiday Inn reported a theft from his room while he was gone for break. The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate a suspect or suspects involved. This case is under investigation at this time.

1/9 – Medical Emergency – A resident student reported having trouble breathing in Lexington hall. Officers responded, and Valley Ambulance was called to transport the student to Sewickley Hospital for further treatment.

1/9 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian advised of a trouble alarm activated in Lexington Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that the cause for the alarm was burnt food. Officers reset the alarm panel and cleared.
