11/13 Suspicious Person – A report was given for a suspicious male walking on Campus Drive. Officers checked the surrounding areas and were unable to locate him. (Closed) 

11/15 – Medical Emergency – Valley Ambulance was called to the nurse’s office in Nicholson Center for a male student having chest pains. Valley Ambulance transported the patient to Sewickley Valley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)

11/16 – Student Conduct – A student working on a project in Lexington Hall used spray paint and got it on the carpet in the common area. (Closed)

11/16 – Theft – A student reported their freedom card missing and charges made after losing it. The students who used the card were identified and will be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

11/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana in Marshall Hall. Officers responded and located the room where the odor was coming from. The student involved was cooperative and handed over all illegal items to this department and will be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

11/16 – Accident – A student reported their vehicle being damaged while parked in the Lower John Jay parking lot. All pertinent information was obtained and pictures were taken of the damage to the vehicle. (Closed)

11/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, the entire buildings fire system was activated. The cause for the alarm was located on the first floor, which was burnt food. The alarm panel was reset and the residents were permitted back into the building. (Closed)

11/16 – Access Device Fraud – A student reported losing their freedom card and someone making purchases with it at Romo’s. The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate the suspects involved. This case is under investigation at this time. (Open)

11/17 – Accident – A Parkhurst employee reported backing into a parked car with a golf cart. The vehicle owner was notified and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)

11/20 – Disturbance – This department was advised of someone yelling in a room at Yorktown Hall. Officers responded and spoke with the occupants in the room who advised they were playing around. No further action needed from this department. (Closed)

11/20 – Gas Leak – This department was advised of a gas leak in the gashouse by Jefferson Center. Jefferson Center was evacuated. Moon Fire Dept. and Peoples Gas were contacted to repair the problem. (Closed)

11/21 – Missing Property – Maintenance reported a missing STIHL BG55 leaf blower from Yorktown Hall. This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

11/21 – Departmental Information – Officers were requested to stand by while a student was removed from a class. Officers assisted without incident. (Closed)

11/24 – Medical Emergency – A patron at the Island Sports Center was injured during a hockey game. Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the patient to Children’s Hospital for treatment on their left ankle. (Closed)

11/25 – Assist Another Agency – Bellevue Police Department requested this department’s assistance in trying to locate a male that might be on campus. Officers checked campus with negative results. Moon Police located the male off campus and notified Bellevue Police. (Closed)

11/25 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian advised of a trouble alarm activated in Concord Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, it was determined that the cause for the alarm was burnt food. The alarm was reset and the officers cleared the call. (Closed)

11/26 – Lost Property – An employee at the Island Sports Center reported losing their RMU issued keys. A report was made for the university locksmith to make a replacement. (Closed)

11/26 – Departmental Information – This department was requested to transport a student to Sewickley Valley Hospital. An officer transported the student without incident. (Closed)

11/26 – Theft – This department was advised that two hockey sticks were taken from the Pagoda Three locker room at the Island Sports Center. All pertinent information was obtained and an investigation is under way. (Open)

11/26 – Missing Person – This department was advised of a possible missing student. Upon investigating this call and checking campus, the student was located in Hale Center speaking with a professor after class. No further action needed from this department. (Closed)

11/26 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause of the alarm to be steam from the shower. The alarm was reset and officers cleared the call. (Closed)
