11/27 Departmental Information – A student reported being assaulted by a non-student while playing basketball in the John Jay Gym. The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to identify the suspect. This case is under investigation at this time. (Open) 

11/28 – Found Property – An officer found a Dell laptop computer while locking Patrick Henry Center. The computer belongs to the university and was kept at the Barry Center until picked up by the IT department. (Closed)

11/28 – Lost Property – An employee reported losing their university issued key. A report was made and forwarded to the university locksmith for a replacement.  (Closed) 

11/28 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana in Gallatin Hall. The room was located and the student handed over all illegal items to this department.  The student was advised that he would be sent through the university’s Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

11/29 – Student Conduct – A student reported being harassed by another student in Madison Hall. Officers spoke with both parties involved and were able to resolve the matter. This incident will be sent through Judicial Affairs. (Closed)

11/29 – Accident – This department was advised of a hit and run accident in the lower John Jay parking lot. Officers checked the area for said vehicle with negative results. (Closed)

11/30 – Missing Property – Residence Life reported two students with laundry missing from Washington Hall. Officers will review the cameras in that location in an attempt to locate any suspects involved. (Open)

12/01– Medical Emergency – Residence Life reported an unresponsive female in Marshall Hall. Officers responded along with Valley Ambulance to assess the situation. Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed) 

12/01 – Suspicious Vehicle – This department was advised of a suspicious vehicle following another one onto campus. Officers checked the area and located the vehicle unoccupied with a visitor pass. The owner of the vehicle was an overnight guest returning to campus. (Closed)

12/01 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported underage drinking in Ross Hall. Officers met with the student involved and advised him he would be sent through Judicial Affairs for underage drinking. (Closed)

12/02 – Lost Property – A student made a report for a lost wallet. The student was advised that if the wallet were turned into this department that he would be notified. (Closed)

12/02 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a dead bird in one of the elevators in Salem Hall. Officers were able to determine who placed the bird in the elevator by the cameras. The student was contacted and advised that he/she will be sent through Judicial Affairs for his/her actions. (Closed)

12/02 – Medical Emergency – This department was contacted for an intoxicated female who needed medical attention. Officers responded along with Valley Ambulance who transported the female to Sewickley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

12/02 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, they met with the resident who advised they were cooking. The officers reset the alarm panel. (Closed)
