10/17 Student Conduct – This department is investigating an incident related to a student misusing a borrowed laptop. (Open) 

10/24 – Medical Emergency – Valley Ambulance was requested at John Jay center for a male who was disoriented. Valley transported the patient to Allegheny General Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)

10/24 – Lost Property – An employee reported losing their university keys. A report was made and a copy was sent to the university locksmith for a replacement set. (Closed)

10/24 – Accident – An employee reported damage to their vehicle while parked at Joe Walton Circle. A dent was made on the passenger side door to the vehicle from a lacrosse ball. Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was written. (Closed)

10/24 – Student Conduct – Residence Life advised of a student on the PNG list present at Braddock Hall. The student was located and advised to leave the residence hall. The student complied without incident. (Closed)

10/24 – Lost Property – A student reported a robe missing from the laundry room at Yorktown Hall. The robe was located and this incident is being handled through Residence Life. (Closed)

10/25 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall. Upon officers’ arrival, there was no sign of smoke or fire and the alarm panel had reset itself. The building was checked with negative results. (Closed) 

10/25 – Departmental Information – A student spoke with an officer about a possible harassment situation. Both parties involved were spoken to and advised to have no further contact. (Closed)

10/25 – Accident – Complainant advised that their vehicle was struck while in the Colonial Way parking lot. Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed) 

10/27 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a party with alcohol in Washington Hall. All parties involved were advised that they will be sent through Judicial Affairs for an alcohol violation. (Closed)

10/27 – Assist Another Agency – Officers assisted Moon Police Department with a large party on Sharon Road containing RMU students. (Closed)

10/27 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a male under the influence of alcohol at Braddock Hall. The male was located admitted to drinking and was advised that Judicial Affairs will handle judgment for this incident. (Closed)

10/27 – Theft – Complainant called and reported someone stealing his property from the John Jay gym. The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate any suspect or suspects involved. This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

10/28 – Medical Emergency – A patron at the Island Sports Center sustained an injury during a hockey game. Valley Ambulance transported the patron to Children’s Hospital. (Closed)

10/28 – Accident – This department was advised of a motor vehicle accident in the Sewall Center parking lot. Both parties exchanged their information and pictures were taken of the damage for the report. (Closed)

10/28 – Accident – Officers were advised of a motor vehicle accident on Colonial Way with a vehicle over the hillside. Minor damage was done to both vehicles and both parties exchanged information. Garzony’s Towing was contacted to remove the vehicle from the hillside. (Closed)

10/29 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana coming from the rear stairwell at Yorktown Hall. An odor was present but negative results locating any suspects. Extra patrols will be conducted at Yorktown Hall. (Closed)
