9/19 – Departmental Information – A parent of a resident student called reporting his/her student was using his/her vehicle without permission. Officers checked campus for the vehicle with negative results. (Closed)

9/19 – Accident – A student called reporting their vehicle hit while parked in the Upper Massey Lot and the suspect vehicle left the scene. (Closed)

9/19 – Accident – Two individuals came to Barry Center to report a minor vehicle accident in front of Salem Hall. Information collected and a report completed for insurance purposes. (Closed)

9/19 – Suspicious Person – Officers responded to Yorktown Hall for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers found the individual had already left the area. (Closed)

9/19 – Departmental Information – An RMU employee came to the Barry Center to report a computer tower missing from the Hale Center. This incident is under investigation. (Open)

9/20 – Medical Emergency – Officers responded to Nicholson Center for a student with a head laceration. Valley Ambulance notified and transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed)

9/21 – Medical Emergency – Officers responded to Benjamin Rush Center for a student with a head laceration. Valley Ambulance notified and transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for further treatment. (Closed) 

9/21 – Underage Drinking – Officers responded to Yorktown Hall for a report of an intoxicated underage student. Upon arrival, officers located the student and due to their high level of intoxication, Valley Ambulance was notified for evaluation. The student was cited for underage consumption and transported to Coraopolis PD for lodging. (Closed)

9/21 – Suspicious Incident – A parent of a resident student at Yorktown Hall reported their student keeps finding their door left open. This incident is under investigation. (Open)

9/22 – Accident – Officers responded to Salem Hall for a report of a minor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located all involved parties. Information collected and a report completed for insurance purposes. (Closed)

9/22 – Departmental Information – Officers responded to Yorktown Hall for a report of unknown individuals knocking on doors. Upon arrival, officers found the suspects had left the area. (Closed)

9/22 – Theft – Public Safety Officers responded to the Island Sports Center Dome for a report of a stolen cell phone. This incident is under investigation. (Open)

9/22 – Student Conduct – Officers made contact with a group of underage students at Adams Hall who had been drinking. All involved will be sent through Judicial Affairs for further adjudication. (Closed)

9/22 – Student Conduct – While doing community patrols of Adams Hall, officers found a broken hand sanitizer on the floor. Officers located the individual responsible and found them to be underage and intoxicated. The individual was cited for underage consumption as well as criminal mischief. (Closed)

9/23 – Student Conduct – Officers responded to Yorktown Hall for reported smell of marijuana. Upon arrival, officers located the source of the smell and identified those responsible. All illegal substances as well as paraphernalia were confiscated and all involved parties will be sent through Judicial Affairs for adjudication. (Closed)

9/23 – Smell of Smoke – Officers responded to Gallatin Hall for reported smell of smoke. Upon arrival, officers found a resident had burnt popcorn. (Closed)

9/23 – Assist Another Agency – Officers assisted Moon Township PD with a traffic stop on Colonial Way. Moon arrested an individual for suspected DUI.  (Closed)

9/23 – Smell of Smoke – Officers responded to Marshall Hall for reported smell of smoke in the building. Upon arrival, officers found a resident had burnt food. (Closed)

9/24 – Lost Property – Student called reporting they lost their wallet on the campus shuttle and wanted to make this department aware. (Closed)
