The Robert Morris women’s basketball team has announced their non-conference schedule for the 2018-2019 season. The program previously announced their conference schedule, so today’s announcement means that the full schedule for the upcoming season has been released.

The season for the RMU women’s team will kick off on the road against Youngstown State on Nov. 6 at 7:00 p.m. According to RMU Athletics, this is the earliest opener for the women’s basketball team in the history of the program. Their next game will be their home opener against La Salle on Nov. 11 at noon.

The highlights of the non-conference slate include the LMU Thanksgiving Classic Tournament in Los Angeles, California. The Colonials will take on SMU in game one of that tournament on Black Friday at 4:00 p.m. Depending on the outcome of that game and the other game of the tournament, Robert Morris will either take on the host of the tournament, Loyola Marymount, or Northern Arizona the following Saturday at 4:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.

The other highlight match-up for the Colonials will take place on December 2nd, at a time that is still yet to be determined. The Colonials will travel to Iowa to take on the Hawkeyes for their only Power-5 opponent of the 2018-2019 season.

The conference season starts on Jan. 5, 2019 at home against Mount St. Mary’s. The last game of the season is on March 7, 2019 at home against St. Francis in a game that could end up determining who is the one seed for the 2018-2019 NEC conference tournament.
