ROBERT MORRIS – Vice President of Student Life, John Michalenko addressed meal plan changes at this week’s SGA meeting.

According to Michalenko, the changes proposed at during a meeting that on took place in Hopwood Hall on Feb. 5 are not yet final.

The room selection process has begun. In an email sent to students, the Housing Selection Guide details the timeline of due dates. Assistant Director for Programs of Residence Life Charles Forrester, reminds students that housing contracts and a $250 deposit are due March 13.

New clubs on campus include Spikeball Club, which was approved at the meeting. The club team aims to create a more relaxed athletic environment.

A new club was proposed. Analytics Club wants to provide RMU students with educational events related to analytics, data science and artificial intelligence.

There are upcoming plans to improve recycling on campus which will be discussed further.

Many events are taking place this week, including Shark Tank, modeled after the popular show. Organizations will have a chance to pitch their ideas and win money. Proposals are due Feb. 12.

Co-sponsored by SGA, a ski trip to Seven Springs will take place on Valentine’s Day. The Office of Student Life is collecting payments and students can register by completing a waiver form on Revolution. The bus departs at 3 p.m. and leaves Seven Springs at 9:30 p.m. Prices are listed below:

Lift Ticket: $35

Ski/snowboard Rental: $27

Helmet Rental: $13

Candidate petitions are also due March 13 on Revolution.
